Would you like to contribute to your own community and work with others like yourself who have a desire to accelerate your community’s development and promote peace?

As a CGN Volunteer, you will make a positive impact in the life of young girls within your community while working alongside other professionals. Volunteers are invaluable assets to the work of CGN, particularly at the community level where they usher in greater ownership of programs and projects. Join us now and help girls in your community move faster toward attaining self-actualization.

ACTIVITIES

Communication Activities:
These activities help the girls learn that expressing their ideas and listening to other team members is one of the best ways to resolve a problem. The best example of communication activity is a game known as ‘the human knot’ in which the team members hold hands and disentangle limbs to form a circle.

Problem Solving Activities:
These types of activities will help the girls work collectively to find a solution to any problem. Hot lava is one such activity, where the players pretend as if there is lava on the ground and move around without touching it. They focus on planning, organizing, and critical thinking.

Planning and Adaptability Activities:
They teach the girls how to change their plans if the first one doesn’t work. Egg drop activity is one good instance. The primary goal is not to break the egg when dropped from a height. The team should figure out some ways to protect the egg.

Trust-Building Activities:
They work on building a relationship between team players. One excellent example is ‘Blindfold obstacle’. In this, one member is blindfolded and should completely trust the partner’s directions to get out of the obstacle.

MENTORSHIP

What is a mentor? How do you find one, and how do you learn from these relationships? One of the most important catalysts of success, but one of the most elusive. Let’s get you the mentorship you need to feel inspired and connected to your highest self!

At CGN, we have professional and experienced mentors who work with the girls, ensuring that they stay focused on the objectives of their training.
